The Sennheiser MKH416 P48 is a professional shotgun directional microphone for broadcast applications. Comes with microphone clamp (MZQ-100 microphone clamp), windshield (MZW-415 windshield) and transport case. Good microphone for broadcast / ENG applications (especially also for outdoor reporting). A great and widely used 'rod' microphone!
It fits the Rycote Softies and Windjammers and is therefore often used along the sidelines of a soccer field. Over the years it has become the industry standard! An MKH capsule is much less sensitive to moisture and dust. And these are both characteristics that make people in the broadcast and film industry happy!
