Sennheiser Profile Wireless

Designed specifically for content creators and videographers, Sennheiser's Profile Wireless is an all-in-one microphone system with a 2-channel 2.4GHz receiver and two clip-on microphone transmitters. The set comes with a charging unit, carrying case and accessories. The charging unit is the core of the system; it not only houses all the other components, but also doubles as a handheld interview microphone. The receiver allows you to record two sources simultaneously; the two transmitters with clip-on microphones also have internal recording for added security. The clip-on microphone transmitters are pre-paired so they automatically connect to the receiver - no configuration is necessary - and they have lockable 3.5mm TRS connectors for use with optional Sennheiser lavalier microphones.

Sennheiser's all-inclusive Profile Wireless system uses a long-lasting battery for up to seven hours of operating time, and it includes mounting clips and magnets, windshields, a cold-shoe mounting adapter, USB-C and Lightning connectors and threaded mounting connectors.

Recording flexibility
The Profile Wireless system is extremely flexible. Case in point: the charging unit acts as a multifunctional charging cradle and can be used as a handheld interview microphone, which can then be paired with a windscreen or cold-shoe mounting adapter. The 2-channel 2.4GHz receiver allows you to record two sources simultaneously, and you can connect it directly to your camera, computer or smartphone. The two clip-on microphone transmitters not only transmit audio to the receiver, but also feature 16GB of built-in memory for up to 30 hours of internal recording that you can start and stop locally from the transmitter, remotely from the receiver or automatically via backup recording mode if your wireless signal becomes weak. The clip-on transmitters attach effortlessly to clothing using the included clips and magnets, plus they feature lockable 3.5mm TRS jacks for optional Sennheiser lavalier microphones.

Excellent sound quality
As we've come to expect from Sennheiser, the Profile Wireless delivers perfect sound. For starters, it records in an uncompressed, 24-bit/48kHz format with a wide 60Hz-20kHz frequency response and negligible latency. You also get a Safety Channel Mode that outputs backup audio at a lower gain level to prevent clipping. The included windscreens prevent breath and wind noise from affecting your recording. The system's headphone output is convenient because it allows you to check your audio and troubleshoot problems before they affect your recording.

Comprehensive suite of accessories
Sennheiser intended Profile Wireless to be an all-in-one solution, and it shows in the generous collection of included accessories. For starters, you get USB-C, Lightning and cold-shoe adapters, so you can use the system with all smartphones and cameras. A 3.5mm TS coil cable lets you connect the system's output to a wide range of input devices. You get special windshields for each clip-on microphone transmitter, as well as one designed specifically for the charging rod when used as a handheld interview microphone. You also get a USB-C to USB-C cable and a handy carrying case.
