BLX2 handheld transmitter with Beta 58A microphone capsule
The included BLX2 handheld transmitter is equipped with the well-known Beta 58A microphone capsule. This dynamic vocal microphone has a supercardioid pickup pattern, effectively suppressing unwanted noise from the sides and back. This helps to reduce feedback and ensures that the voice comes out clearly and powerfully in the mix. The transmitter runs on two AA batteries and can be used for up to approximately 14 hours before the batteries need to be replaced. With a range of up to about 50 meters, the system provides ample freedom of movement on stage. The sturdy plastic housing makes the transmitter rugged, while keeping the weight down so the microphone is comfortable to hold.

BLX4R rack receiver
The BLX4R receiver is designed for mounting in a 19-inch rack and comes with a rackmount kit. This makes it easy to integrate into a fixed installation or a mobile rack system. The bright LCD display shows important information such as audio and transmitter status. With the QuickScan feature, the receiver automatically searches for the best available channel for an interference-free connection. The receiver is equipped with two detachable antennas for stable reception. The audio signal can be sent to a mixer or audio system via an XLR output or via a 6.35 mm jack output.

Flexible wireless system
The BLX Series is designed for easy expansion. Within one frequency band, up to 12 compatible systems can be used simultaneously, depending on circumstances. This allows you to start with one set and expand later when needed. Shure offers different configurations within the BLX series with handheld, headset, instrument and tie microphones.

This version operates in the K14 frequency band of 614-638 MHz.
