The Korean company Sire has made a lot of fame in a short time. And not only because they have managed to get none other than Marcus Miller inseparably attached to them. Neck and fingerboard
The roasted flamed neck and fingerboard, processed through a special drying process, give a similar tonal effect to a well-maintained vintage instrument. The tonal density is softened which increases the natural resonance.

Finished with a solid maple top and a flamed veneer which covers the swamp ash body, providing a heavier, clearer and deeper sound.
Rounded fingerboard edges
What is normally found only on custom shops is now on every SIRE 2nd generation bass These rounded fingerboard edges provide a firmer and more natural grip compared to more traditional keys.
