The Korean company Sire has made fame fast and in a short period of time. And not just because Marcus Miller linked himself to the company; Sire nailed it in terms of build and sound quality. At this pricepoint, these basses are truely impressive and just no-brainers! For those who love the traditional J and P sound, Sire will tick your boxes, but at the same time, their active instruments are just as modern as they are versatile. The design choices Sire has made (available colors, headstock shape) are just distinctive enough to be recognizable and the detailing on the instruments perfectly fine,
The V5 is Sire's take on the renown 70's jazzbass; block inlay's and the brigde pickup close to the bridge for the signature 70's jazzbass rumble. The V5 is passive, is made with an alder body, maple neck and a bound, roasted fretboard with rolled edges that makes every Sire so incredible comfortable to play with. Another cool feature that you'll find on every Sire is that option to mount the strings either body through or bridge through (or go crazy and mix it up!); just experiment on what this will do for your tone! All of this for less that 500 EU's!
There is no gigbag or case included with this bass!
