The Yamaha MGX16 W (White) continues the well-known MG series and translates it into a powerful digital mixer with studio-quality audio, flexible routing and direct, uncluttered control. With more channels, additional connectivity options and expanded digital features, the MGX16 is suitable for larger live setups, studios, streaming and podcast productions.

Despite the extensive features, operation remains simple. The mixer features 16 non-motorized faders, a bright 4.3-inch touchscreen and five physical control knobs. Eight high-quality MGX microphone preamps on Mic/Line combo inputs, along with 16 flexibly deployable mixing channels, provide a solid foundation for a variety of applications. In addition, the MGX16 W features a 22-in / 22-out USB audio interface, Bluetooth audio input and an internal 16-track recorder that records directly to microSD card.

The MGX16 combines extensive connectivity with powerful digital signal processing. Eight MGX microphone preamps and high-quality AD/DA converters adhere to Yamaha's 'True Sound' philosophy, with a gain range of up to 86 dB, low distortion and a dynamic range of 125 dB.

The internal DSP delivers high-quality digital effects and monitoring without latency. The comprehensive mixing structure includes mono and stereo channels, a dedicated Sound Pad, two FX channels and extensive Mix, FX, Cue and Stereo buses. Four headphone outputs provide reliable monitoring in live and studio situations.

Creative workflows and extensive integration
In addition to its role as a digital mixer, the MGX16 functions as a creative control center. Flexible routing and dual Main and Sub USB ports give you a 22-in / 22-out USB audio interface, complemented by 2-track recording and playback via the Sub port. Bluetooth makes wireless audio playback easy during performances, streams and studio sessions. Eight freely configurable pads allow direct activation of sound effects or proprietary functions. With internal recording of up to 16 tracks and 2-channel playback from microSD, capture professional audio anywhere, without an external recorder.

Smart controls that keep pace
The combination of physical controls and the clear touch screen makes the MGX16B fast and pleasant to use. The 16 faders offer precise level control, supported by dedicated Send knobs, four freely assignable rotary knobs and a Touch & Turn controller. Smart auxiliary functions such as Smart Gain and Clip Safe help set stable levels. The Total FX section, which includes a Ducker and multiband compressor, ensures controlled and professional results. With quick Scene Recall and an optional Simple mode, you instantly switch between different setups.
