The Luce 60 by Cort is a popular western guitar for the beginning guitarist. And that's not surprising; a nicely built guitar with a solid spruce top, laminated mahogany sides and back, and a laurel fingerboard that -for this price- sounds super good.
The smaller Orchestra Model body shape gives the L60 acoustic guitar a bright sound and easy playability, ideal for both strummers and fingerpickers. With the enhanced projection and dynamics of the solid spruce top and advanced X-bracing pattern, the L60 offers a powerful acoustic sound in a comfortably compact size.
The guitar has a bound body, sealed oil-bath tuners and high-gloss finish. Truly a bang-for-a-buck! For the beginning guitarist we would like to offer the best available on the market. Especially when you start playing the guitar, you will benefit from a great guitar that sounds good, is well built and has a nice finish.
Cort is built in the Indonesian Cor-tek factory which for years has been the court-producer for many other very large guitar brands such as Ibanez, PRS and Fender and produces over 1 million guitars a year!
So in fact it is the house brand of Cor-tek, although Cort is really a reputable brand in its own right and has been a market leader in the entry-level segment for years, with a nice product, lots of choice and good prices.
