With this model, the classic OM takes on a new role as a true soloist, thanks to Bourgeois’ elegant soft cutaway. This subtle cutaway provides effortless access to the higher positions on the neck, while the instrument remains true to a classic, vintage-inspired look. The cutaway has been designed with great care to maintain the perfect balance between the soundboard surface, the volume of the soundbox, and string tension, ensuring that the guitar’s natural voice and resonance remain fully intact.

The top, crafted from Aged Tone torrefied Sitka spruce, is paired with a back and sides made of Indian rosewood. This wood combination delivers a mature, open tone from the very first strum, with rich warmth, excellent clarity, and impressive depth. The response is dynamic and sensitive, allowing both subtle fingerstyle playing and more powerful strumming to shine.
