Right at the hi-end tip of the iceberg of Eastman's Traditional Series, we find the E40 series of guitars. Consisting of a Dreadnought and an OM model, available in both natural and sunburst and based on the luxurious and iconic, pre-war models with all the traditional bells and whistles. Truly beautiful, the body is made of a solid AAA adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood sides and back. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. Eastman selects and uses only the finest tonewoods for these flagship models and you can hear it in the unprecedented rich, resonant and dynamic tone. All the hot details are there, from the mother of pearl bindings, snowflake position inlays and headstock inlay to the open-gear tuners and headstock volute; this guitar is totally finished and totally awesome.
