All E-series / Traditional Series from Eastman are based on the iconic western guitars of the "pre-war golden era". Thus, within this range you will only find the traditional body shapes such as dreadnoughts, OMs, OOOs and OOs, without cut-away.
The E3 series is one of our personal favorites and in its price range - in our opinion - a real killer! The full solid body with spruce top and ovangkol back and sides and ebony fingerboard really stands out from the collection; the warm, sweet tone of the spruce makes this guitar sound very rich and mature. Even this, somewhat smaller, orchestra performance sounds surprisingly grand!
The 3-piece mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard and the body shell has hand-scalloped X-bracing; all in all, Eastman offers a mix of very nice specifications with the E3 series, making this a guitar that performs many times above its price!
The icing on the cake is the Fishman Sonitone pickup with which you can also play it amplified.
This guitar comes with a luxury Eastman gig bag.
