Eve Audio SC305

The SC305 is the first three-way system in EVE's studio monitor line. Three-way means that in the SC305 there are 3 amplifiers, each dealing with a different part of the frequency range. With crossovers at 350Hz and 3000Hz we have divided the two woofers over low-end and midrange while the ribbon tweeter can fully focus on everything above 3000Hz. This way we achieve a fuller and more detailed reproduction of the audio and avoid distortion.

This gives the SC305 a frequency range of an impressive 50Hz to 21kHz, which is remarkable with 5" woofers. And with 108 dB SPL and 150 W of power, you have more than enough output and volume for any situation.

This nearfield monitor combines the power of three different amplifiers for highly efficient, dynamic and low-noise sound reproduction. This makes three-way systems suitable not only for critical and detailed listening, but also for delivering power and thunderous bass.

These three-way systems are designed around the concept of properly distributing frequencies between all the individual components and effectively increasing the efficiency of your speakers.

With the SC305, one of the woofers only delivers sound up to 350 Hz, functioning as a kind of "bass woofer." The other woofer gives you a fuller range up to the 3000 Hz crossover frequency as a bass-midrange driver.

This means less effective physical work is done by each individual woofer, which in turn results in less mechanical inertia and more efficient sound transmission. Both woofers consist of our patented 5" SilverCone, the same one used in the smaller SC205 model and features our advanced low distortion copper magnet system. However, because two woofers are used simultaneously, you get a larger frequency response - up to 50 Hz.
