Eve Audio SC2070

This RS7 tweeter and 6.5" SilverCone woofer are driven by Class D amplifiers with a total power of 250W, delivering 106dB of sound pressure.

The SC2070

SC2070 combines the eminent technologies of the SC3070 and the TEC award-winning SC4070 in a compact 2-way system. The brand new Air Motion Transformer RS7 represents a new level of innovation. RS7 was developed specifically for the SC2070 to achieve a crossover frequency at 1800 Hz that is astonishingly low for a 2-way monitor. Its diaphragm area is 1.5 times larger than that of the SC207's tweeter diaphragm. High and high midrange frequencies are reproduced with unparalleled precision and resolution, revealing the smallest nuances.

Designed for detail

An optimized low-resonance enclosure with a reinforced front baffle houses the Air Motion Transformer RS7 and a 6.5" SilverCone woofer, as well as the amplifier with a total output power of 250W. Intelligent protection mechanisms prevent overloading of the drivers. The beveled cabinet edges reduce sound diffractions.

All adjustments can be made via the SMART button, a trademark of all EVE Audio studio monitors. In this way, all kinds of improvements can be made to the respective room situation in the simplest way from the front of the studio monitor. Thanks to the combination of these technologies, the SC2070 offers unmatched performance for its compact size with maximum impulse fidelity.

RS7

The Air Motion Transformer RS7, developed specifically for the SC2070, is the largest AMT used in a 2-way monitor. Its aperture area is 1.5 times larger than that of the AMT RS1, RS2, RS3 and RS3.1 used in our other models and almost as large as that of the AMT RS6, used exclusively in our main monitors SC3010 and SC3012. With great precision and detail, the RS7 reproduces silky smooth top-end to high midrange frequencies. With a crossover frequency set to 1800Hz deep, the midrange is reproduced at levels normally found in 3-way systems.

The 6.5" SilverCone woofer is driven by an advanced, low-distortion copper-capped magnet system with a 1.5" voice coil. The combination of very light and extremely stiff honeycomb cone material ensures that this woofer provides a solid foundation with low distortion and accurate and dynamic bass.

Two high-quality Class D amplifiers complete the system and provide sufficient output power to meet the demands of modern music production. The maximum input level can be set between 7dBu and 22dBu to ensure the best possible resolution from the A/D converter.
