Inspired by the beach community on Catalina Island in Southern California, the Avalon tenor ukulele is the bigger brother of the popular Venice soprano model. A tenor ukulele gives the player a deeper sound register than a concert or soprano body, while still being portable enough to easily travel from the beach to the studio or jam room. The Avalon's all-bass wood construction and slim "C" shaped neck profile provide the superior sound and playability that is a hallmark of Fender ukuleles.
Other features include a no-tie bridge for quick, easy string changes, classic Fender color options and a lacquered 4-in-line Strat headstock. With the Avalon ukulele, you can be transported to your own island wherever you are.
Gig bag optional: Fender FU-610
Tenor: The tenor ukulele is a popular instrument known for its deeper, fuller sound and larger size compared to traditional soprano and concert ukuleles. Thanks to its longer scale of about 43 cm (17) and wider neck, this model offers more space on the fingerboard. This makes the tenor ukulele particularly suitable for players with larger hands and for musicians who like to play complex solos or fingerpicking styles.
