The Fender Custom Shop 1968 Telecaster Closet Classic in Super Aged Daphne Blue captures the essence of an immaculate vintage instrument that has been safely stored away for decades. This Tele features an alder body finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, which provides the resonant tone and natural aging characteristics according to the Fender Closet Classic recipe.
Hand-wound Custom Shop '67 Single-Coil Telecaster pickups deliver authentic vintage-correct tone, ranging from crisp twang to warm, clean tones. The traditional 3-way switch and classic controls with master volume and tone controls give you instant access to a world of famous Telecaster sounds.

The maple neck is also finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and features a premium 3A rosewood fingerboard finished with pearl dot inlays. The vintage-style bridge with three saddles and threaded steel barrel saddles delivers the classic Telecaster sound and playing experience, while the vintage "F"-style tuners provide a period-correct look.
Other premium features include a 60 Style Oval "C" neck profile, 7.25" radius, 21 Jescar vintage-style frets, bone nut, knurled chrome knobs, 3-ply white pickguard, vintage-style tuners with Fender logo, American Vintage '56-'58 string tree, deluxe hardshell case, guitar strap and certificate of authenticity.
