Heil Sound PR 30 Black

The Heil PR 30 is dynamic vocal and instrument microphone. This version comes in the color black. The microphone is known for its wide frequency range that gives it the sound of a ribbon microphone, while retaining the durability and reliability of a dynamic microphone. Ribbons are known for their natural, accurate sound, but their fragile elements often limit them to studio applications. The Heil PR 30 gives you that ribbon sound, and its strong construction and dynamic element means you can take the mic anywhere! So it's also ideal for live sound applications.

The microphone is a so-called end-fire model (also known as Top-Address), which means that the sound is collected at the head of the microphone.

Wide dynamic range
The large size and low mass of the microphone element, combined with a powerful NdFeB magnet structure, give the microphone a supernier pattern with exceptional off-axis rejection and the ability to capture high SPLs with a wide dynamic range.

Internal shockmount
The internal mount (made by Sorbothane) decouples the microphone element from the housing, greatly reducing the effects of handling noise.
