Wide dynamic range
The large size and low mass of the microphone element, combined with a powerful NdFeB magnet structure, give the microphone a supernier pattern with exceptional off-axis rejection and the ability to handle high SPLs with a wide dynamic range.

Internal shockmount
The internal mount (made by Sorbothane) decouples the microphone element from the housing, greatly reducing the effects of handling noise.
