The Hipshot Bass Extender is a handy tool that lets you set drop-down tuning with the flip of one lever -in one motion, super fast and 100% exact.
You replace the original tuner of the E (or B) string of your bass guitar with the Hipshot. Because the two-piece body of the Hipshot can rotate and you can set exactly how far with the adjusting screw, the tuner shoots to the exact set tuning with the flip of the lever. For the bassist who often switches between regular and Drop-D tuning, this is a must-have modification to your bass!
This GB7 version of the Hipshot Bass Extender is designed for right-handed (left side of headstock only) basses with Gotoh or Hipshot style tuners in the color black. Please note; we do not give a fit guarantee on parts and we do not rule out the possibility that modifications may need to be done to make this part fit your bass.
