The Hipshot Bass Extender is a handy tool that allows you to set drop-down tuning with the flip of one lever -in one motion, super fast and 100% exact.
It replaces the original tuner of the E (or B) string of your bass guitar. Because the two-piece body of the Hipshot tuner is able to twist with a range that you can set accurately with the adjusting screw, the tuner shoots to the exact set tuning with the flip of the lever. For the bassist who regularly switches between standard and Drop-D tuning, this is a must-have modification to your bass!
This GB7 version of the Hipshot Bass Extender is designed for right-handed (left side of headstock only) basses with Gotoh or Hipshot style tuners and has a black finish. Please note; we can not grand the the fitting of parts and we do not rule out the possibility that modifications may need to be done to make this tuner fit your bass guitar.
