Speaker, speakers and more speakers!

With its slim and elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 looks very attractive. The two aluminum column elements placed on top of the subwoofer, adding to the seamless visual impression. The columns are equipped with 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers and 2 x 1'' tweeters, which combined with the innovative phase plug design ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. Moreover, the BEM-optimized waveguide for the tweeters carries the high frequencies even to the very back of the audience.

Thought about everything

LD Systems' engineers also put a lot of thought into the crossover filter between the midrange and tweeter speakers. The goal was to reduce harmonic distortion and interference to make the sound even more transparent, lively and powerful. The result speaks for itself: highly accurate reproduction of vocals and instruments over the entire 120° x 30° dispersion field. The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 are designed as cardioid speakers. This ensures controlled bass at the front and up to 18 dB of attenuation at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound. This also reduces the chance of that irritating peak over the microphones because you just don't have the space to put the speakers further away from you.

Its all about the bass

Equipped with a single 12'' woofer and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer delivers a clear, tight and punchy low to 37 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, bass response can be increased by up to 6 dB, and it can also be driven in a cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (cardioid preset). Moreover, the subwoofer's ultra-durable polyurea coating withstands the toughest road conditions.

Pro sound, but easy

The MAUI 28 G3 is a real sound machine, but with its advanced features it also convinces in the everyday life of DJs, musicians and technicians. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 and AAC encoding, the column PA becomes even more versatile. Transportation is as easy as ever, while the improved, hidden multi-pin connections between the elements provide more stability during assembly.
