Palmer's BRIDGE 4P is a 4-channel passive DI box in 19" rack format with high-quality transformers that can handle even high levels without distortion or loss of the pure sound of your instrument. Each channel is equipped with a 1/4" jack input, a THRU output (to pass the input signals to an amplifier, for example) and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs - one at the front and one at the rear.
With a transformation ratio of 10:1, the transformers provide optimal impedance and level adjustment for connecting instrument signals from guitar, bass, keyboard or synthesizer to a balanced microphone input. At the same time, galvanic isolation prevents ground loop hum, keeping the signal clean, clear and ultra low noise, without any interference.
Thanks to a switchable 30dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4P can be powered with extremely high input levels in addition to line signals, meaning it can even be looped between, for example, the amplifier output and speakers. With the Audio-Over-Cat output, signals from all 4 channels can be routed through a single Cat (Cat5e or higher) cable. This saves material, space and time. Thanks to its passive design, the BRIDGE 4P requires no power supply, making it extremely reliable.
