Warm Audio WA-DI-A2

The Warm Audio WA-DI-A2 is a high-quality 2-channel active DI box for stereo instruments such as keyboards, synthesizers, stereo pedalboards and guitar rigs. This transformer-balanced direct box combines premium CineMag transformers with active circuitry for powerful, balanced signal transfer to mixing consoles, stage boxes and audio interfaces. Especially for high-impedance sources and more complex stereo setups, the WA-DI-A2 provides extra control and consistency, especially for longer cable runs or situations where maximum signal integrity is important.

CineMag transformers with active circuitry
The WA-DI-A2 uses high-quality CineMag USA transformers to preserve the natural character of your instrument, with tight lows, open highs and excellent isolation from interference. The active electronics help pass weaker signals more stably and deliver consistent output levels across the entire frequency range.

Active and passive use
A special feature of the WA-DI-A2 is that both channels can be used switchably active or passive. This allows you to combine different source types and adapt each channel to your setup. Active mode operates on 48V phantom power via the connected mixer or audio interface.

Whether you use a stereo synth setup, have an extended pedalboard or send modelers directly to FOH, the WA-DI-A2 is designed to pass those signals through cleanly and balanced. Variable pad and ground elevator
Each channel features a variable pad from -3 dB to -30 dB to optimally adjust input levels. The ground elevator feature helps eliminate hum and ground loops, especially with larger live rigs or more complex studio setups.

The rugged metal enclosure is designed for touring and intensive studio use. Internally, Class-A components and gold-plated circuit boards ensure a stable signal path with low noise. Like all Warm Audio equipment, this DI is hand tested and comes with a 5-year warranty.
