The Rode Broadcaster is a condenser microphone designed specifically for voice-over/radio applications with a wide frequency range and low distortion. It has now become a true standard in the radio broadcast world. The Broadcaster has a 1 inch diaphragm, a switchable highpass filter and on-air LED indicator. Using the supplied 5-pole connector you can also control other on-air indicators.
Note: With Rode microphones, it is normal for the XLR ground pin to protrude a bit.
