Mood Pan is a unique electronic percussion instrument inspired by acoustic hand pans that invites everyone to discover the healing power of music. With its simple design and intuitive controls, you don't need any prior musical knowledge to play. The expressive pads make it easy to explore soothing sound textures. Mood Pan is made for mindful and modern musicians looking for a versatile and expressive instrument. It combines the authentic sound of acoustic handpans with all kinds of sound variations and other convenient features thanks to Roland's advanced percussion technology. Where most musical instruments require study and practice, anyone can enjoy the Mood Pan right away, without the need for experience or special techniques. The electronic design offers creative freedom without limitations. Explore different instrument sounds and tunings, add effects and play wherever you want. For quiet practice sessions, simply plug in headphones, which automatically mute the internal speaker. 
With nine pressure-sensitive pads, play melodies intuitively with your fingers. Each pad can be linked to a scale, so you always play cleanly. Also use your palms for percussive sounds and play with tone mute or tone variation via the dedicated control pad.

Choose from a range of acoustically inspired sounds such as the hand pan, tongue drum, gamelan, singing bowl or crystal bowl. There are also unique sounds available such as sitar, strings and soft synth pads. Four user slots provide space for custom sounds. The Mood Pan includes soothing background music and nature sounds, with four modes for different moments: morning, evening, relaxation and yoga. Thanks to Bluetooth functionality, you can also use the instrument as a high-quality speaker to stream music from your mobile device.

The Mood Pan Plus app lets you fully personalize your instrument. Set pad sensitivity, select sounds and effects, and load additional sounds into user slots - all tailored to your playing style and preferences.
