The Roland SPD-30 is a percussion pad with 8 buttons, also called an octapad. The Octapad allows you as a drummer or percussionist to share the fun of electronic instruments and work more creatively. The SPD-30 combines the sounds you need as a drummer with trigger technology which ensures an accurate response of all the sound

This octapad comes with 50 kits from different music genres and sounds that you can edit. In addition, there are 30 multi-effect types available as well as an EQ, limiter and 7 "Ambience" effect types. There is room for 50 phrases, each of which consists of three layers.

Each pad forms a separate unit which provides a better response and makes each pad resistant to crosstalk. For a compact drum kit, you can connect 4 pads with dual triggering and a hihat controller. Acoustic drum triggers can also be used
