The Sennheiser EW-DP EK is a separate 1-channel receiver from the Sennheiser EW-DP series. This receiver is in the S1-7 frequency band (606.2 - 662 MHz).
You can mount this compact receiver directly on your camera with a cold shoe. It receives in the UHF spectrum with a wide bandwidth and only 1.9 ms latency. The chassis is equipped with magnets, so you can -if necessary- safely stack multiple receivers. Onboard Bluetooth automatically syncs your EW-DP receivers and gives you remote control via the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. The receiver also automatically manages the frequency band and checks for problems. And if something needs your attention, the EW-DP EK will send you a Smart Notification to let you know. EW-DP EK receivers are compatible with EW-D SK bodypack transmitters, EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitters and EW-D SKP plug-on transmitters.
A system that troubleshoots itself

Magnetic Mounting
Where most wireless receivers take you precious time to free up space and set up, the EW-DP EK's magnetic mounting design helps you set up the system in seconds. Magnets are built into the corners of the receiver, allowing you to easily and securely attach the receiver to the included mounting plate. You can also use the built-in magnets to stack multiple EW-DP EKs on top of each other for applications requiring two or more microphones. Finally, your EW-DP EK receiver includes a magnetic mounting plate, a cold-shoe attachment for cameras, a belt clip and other mounting hardware.
