The Korean company Sire has made a lot of fame in a short time. And not only because they have managed to bind none other than Marcus Miller inextricably to them. That's nice, but if the instruments weren't up to par, also not very meaningful. And that's exactly where sire "nailed it"; these basses are awesome! At this price point, really a no-brainer. The sound is fat and very recognizable; a feast for the lover of traditional J and P sounds, but at the same time the active basses are modern and very versatile. The design choices (color choice, shape of the headstock) are just as distinctive and the finish is excellent.
