Tokai is a company with a rich history. The Japanese guitar company has been around since the 1950s but really became known worldwide in the early 1980s. For years there was no import into Europe of Tokai and the guitars were off the radar for a long time, causing the brand to fade further into the background and at the same time -among enthusiasts- gaining cult status. The "better than the original" image has stayed with many guitarists and passed on to the younger generations and we are pleased to offer a large collection of both the affordable Chinese and the professional Japanese collection
This China-built LS62 is truly remarkable luxury for its price point; mahogany body with maple top (!) and beautiful gold finish, set one-piece maple neck, carbonized Jatoba fretboard with 12" radius, Tune-o-Matic bridge, Tokai's own PAF-style humbuckers, 2 volume controls and 2 tone controls.
