Arturia MiniFreak

The Arturia MiniFreak is a 6-voice polyphonic hybrid keyboard that combines two digital sound engines with analog filters, out-the-box sequencing and instant-access modulation in a playful way. The 37-tone velocity-sensitive keyboard with aftertouch lets you explore all musical corners. Perfect for weaving intricate performances with multiple modulation tracks and exploring endless sweet spots with a built-in digital FX engine. Quite a mouthful and a huge creative experience.

With more than 20 modes to choose from, including Virtual Analog, FM and Additive, the interplay between MiniFreak's two oscillators creates a unique composite sound behavior. With a 6-voice polyphony, analog filters and the ability to process engine 1 and engine 2, the MiniFreak is a compact, powerful and premium instrument.

New features in 2025

Arturia has released a free firmware update (version 3.0) for the MiniFreak that introduces new features and improvements. This update adds seven new granular engines and one classic sample engine, allowing users to experiment deeply with granular synthesis.
