The Roland FP-40 is the successor to one of the world’s most popular starter pianos: the FP-30. Just like its predecessor, it’s the ideal piano for beginners, but also for more experienced musicians who want a realistic touch and sound from a compact and portable piano.
The FP-40 has received a significant upgrade to its speaker system, allowing it to reproduce an even fuller and more realistic piano sound. This speaker system is also mounted on top of the cabinet rather than on the bottom to ensure optimal performance. No more compromises due to sound reflecting off the floor—just a direct and optimal sound.
In addition to great sound, of course, we need a great keyboard. Roland’s PHA-4 keyboard has been a favorite among pianists for years when it comes to instruments in this price range. Effortless Connectivity
USB-C and Bluetooth audio/MIDI provide flexible connectivity with apps and compatible devices. Bluetooth audio lets you play sound through the piano’s speakers, while USB-C and Bluetooth MIDI support bidirectional MIDI communication with compatible apps. USB-C also provides power to connected devices. A headset microphone can be plugged into the headphone jack, making it easy to stream and record videos.

The Piano Sphere app, developed in collaboration with Skoove, offers deep integration with the FP-40.
