Building on the innovative MODX series, the Yamaha MODX+ synthesizer takes your musical possibilities to the next level. With an impressive polyphony of 256 notes, you have plenty of room for rich arrangements and layered sounds. The latest MODX OS gives you convenient extras such as extended Voice options and Live Sets, which allow you to work flexibly and intuitively both in the studio and on stage.

The internal flash memory has been expanded to 1.75 GB, giving you more space for your own sounds and samples. This allows you to give each performance a personal touch. Like its predecessor, the MODX+ is equipped with advanced technologies from Yamaha's top-of-the-line Montage series.

Packed with advanced features
In addition to the AWM2 and FM-X sound engines, the Yamaha MODX6+ boasts an impressive arsenal of advanced features, largely carried over from the Montage series. For example, there is the Super Knob, which allows you to control multiple parameters simultaneously. Via USB, you send out and receive back up to 10 audio channels, in addition to 16 MIDI channels to and from your computer or iOS device. Live Sets let you easily organize performances without having to copy, rename or move them around. The A/D input allows you to pass external audio sources through the MODX+ DSP effects. Also present is Yamaha's Motion Sequences function, which lets you control synthesizer parameters rhythmically and intuitively affect them in real time. The Envelope Follower lets you use internal or external audio signal as a modulator for sound parameters. The built-in Vocoder provides recognizable voice synthesizer sounds. With Seamless Sound Switching (up to four parts without sound interruption), 27 simultaneous effects, a built-in 4-in/10-out audio interface and 1.75 GB of internal flash memory, the picture is complete.
