The redesigned Studio King Series is based on a classic, tried-and-true drum design. The shells consist of a 5-ply combination of maple and poplar, with 45-degree bearing edges for the toms and bass drum and 30-degree bearing edges for the snare drum. This delivers a powerful attack, a warm and versatile tone, and controlled resonance, allowing the set to shine both in the studio and on stage. The drums are equipped with nickel-plated hardware, including Stick Saver hoops, the signature Beavertail lugs, sturdy 1/2-inch floor tom legs, and collapsible bass drum legs, all designed to effortlessly withstand intensive transport and frequent use.
