Sonor's SQ1 series is innovative, versatile and modern. The SQ1 series belongs to Sonor's high-end segment and is handmade in Germany.
This kit is made of 100% European birch wood, 7 layers (7mm) for the tom and floortom, 12 layers (10mm) for the bass drum.
Birch wood has a versatile character and a nice balance between low, mid and high. This makes this kit sought after for both studio and live situations. This kit has a bombastic set-up with its 24" bass drum, 13" tom and 16" floortom, finished in a stylish matte lacquer in the color Satin Gold Metallic, awesome!
CLTF "Cross Laminated Tension Free," tension-free glued shells and OSM "Optimum Shell Measurement" (reduced shell diameter) ensure optimal resonance.
To this Sonor adds their latest invention, the Sound Sustainer Mount, inspiration for which they took from the automotive industry in which technology to reduce and control vibration is widely used. Among other things, Sonor applies this in the suspensions for the toms so that they have as little negative effect as possible on the resonance and sustain of the cymbals.
Sonor shows their sense of detail, technology and solidity in a spectacular way in the SQ1 series.
