This kit is made from 100% European birch, with 7 layers (7 mm) for the tom and floor tom, and 12 layers (10 mm) for the bass drum. Birch has a versatile character and a beautiful balance between low, mid, and high frequencies. This makes this kit highly sought after for both studio and live settings. This kit features a spectacular setup with its 24" bass drum, 13" tom, and 16" floor tom, finished in a stylish matte lacquer in Satin Gold Metallic—it’s awesome! CLTF “Cross Laminated Tension Free” tension-free glued shells and OSM “Optimum Shell Measurement” (reduced shell diameter) ensure optimal resonance. Sonor adds its latest innovation to this: the Sound Sustainer Mount, inspired by the automotive industry, where technology to reduce and control vibrations is widely used. Sonor applies this technology, among other things, to the tom mounts so that they have as little negative impact as possible on the resonance and sustain of the shells.
