Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 Vintage Burst Matte

In addition to the Canadian custom shop basses, you can also find more affordable "Ready to Play" basses at Dingwall. You'll find three models here; Combustion, Combustion NG and the D-Roc. Perhaps the D-Roc is the coolest and sexiest bass guitar on the market today...at least that's what we think!
Of course, the source of inspiration for this model is obvious; many other brands have already remaked or copied the iconic Firebird bass, but Dingwall has really succeeded in creating a mature 2.0 version. The contour of the body is a little different as is the headstock, but let's face it; this model, this body shape with the unmistakable Dingwall 3-pickup configuration and multiscale frets is simply too RUIG for words!

The D-Roc is - certainly by Dingwall standards - a no-nonsense bass. It features a passive, regular volume and tone control with a 4 position circuit for the 3 Dingwall FD-3n pickups; bridge, bridge + middle parallel, middle and finally all three pickups together (fat!!). The body is mahogany, the neck is a 3-piece maple neck with pau ferro fingerboard. And despite the substantial size of this bodyshape, the D-roc are always remarkably lightweight!

The D-Roc comes as a 4 string and now also as a 5 string and has a multi-scale of 34-36.25" or 34-37" respectively. And as everything about this bass suggests, the D-Roc is an insane rock bass; fat, full and super tight in tone. What you see is what you get + a splash of character! Available in several unique finishes and comes with a deluxe Dingwall gig bag.
