The STINGER® 12 A G3 is one of our favorite 12" speakers. This mainly because with this speaker, as with so many LD Systems products, the price-performance ratio is very high. A solid wood cabinet a high quality speaker give a fat, clear and very powerful sound while the cabinet built like a tank. And with the EQ presets on the back this speaker converts to satellite, full range speaker, monitor and even fat in 3 seconds when you want those full fat bass but don't have a sub yet.

This highly professional active 2-way system is designed for absolute long-term reliability. With its multi-functional bass reflex enclosure and finely tuned, easy-to-use presets, the speakers are suitable as full-range, box, satellite and floor monitors. The STINGER® 12 A G3 is powered by a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with an impressive continuous output of 500 watts. The specially developed 12" woofer and a BMS tweeter driver provide deep bass reproduction and fresh, natural treble.

The tweeter's waveguide was developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and dispersion. It reduces reflection from floors and ceilings and prevents side lobes, achieving controlled and homogeneous dispersion.

LD Systems' patented DynX® DSP technology means the STINGER® 12 A G3 delivers perfect performance with maximum clarity and power under all conditions. The signal processing of the crossover function and multi-band limiter ensure optimal runtime and high distortion freedom.

Designed as an all-round workhorse, the speaker's enclosure is made of rugged birch plywood. An extremely resilient polyurea coating provides exceptional ruggedness and durability. Features include a steel front grille, double-tilt tripod mount, escape points and ergonomic handles. The STINGER® 12 A G3 is an economical and attractive solution for professional sound systems, with extensive accessories to support on-stage and fixed-installation use.
