The Yamaha DBR12 is an active speaker with a 12" LF driver and a powerful 1.4" compression HF driver. The speaker is equipped with a powerful 1000W Class D amplifier with internal DSP processing for a beautiful sound quality. SPL = 131 dB (!)
Can also be used as a monitor due to the clever cabinet design (50° wedge angle).
The use of lightweight materials (cabinet is plastic) and a digital power amplifier make this speaker very light and therefore easy to carry around.
The 2-channel mixer on the back provides all the features one expects from a quality speaker: a microphone preamp, stereo input, and thru for connecting multiple speakers. In addition, the DBR12 is equipped with XLR and jack connectors. The speaker can be placed on a stand or mounted on the ceiling with suspension brackets (these are not included) In combination with a subwoofer, the DBR12 can also be used as a top cabinet.
