The e604 is a microphone with very high SPL handling (over 160dB), optimized for use on drum sets and other percussion applications.
The microphone comes with an integrated, swivel mount that can be screwed directly onto a microphone stand or onto the rim of a drum, making the setup very efficient. The e604's balanced, clear sound is comparable to a good studio condenser microphone. A lightweight voice coil provides extended high frequency and fast transient response. This quality drum microphone is housed in a high-strength, reinforced fiberglass housing designed to suppress contact noise. The microphone has a frequency range of 40 to 18,000 Hz with a small peak in the high-mid/high range. This gives the Sennheiser E 604 a powerful, open and clear sound.
