With the introduction of the 800 series, Yamaha has provided its popular acoustic guitars with several valuable improvements. For example, the traditional bracing has been refined and tapered at strategic points. This so-called scalloped bracing, combined with an ultra-thin lacquer finish, produces a richer and more dynamic sound, with more resonance and sparkle.
