Eastman E20D-TC

Eastman’s E-Series / Traditional Series are all based on the iconic steel-string guitars from the “pre-war golden era.” As a result, you’ll find traditional body shapes such as dreadnoughts, OM’s, OOO’s, and OO’s exclusively in this series.
The E20D-TC marks the beginning of the high-end acoustic guitars in Eastman’s Traditional Series. 

It features a solid Adirondack spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, a 3-piece mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, a 25.4" scale, and hand-carved scalloped X-bracing. "TC" refers to the Thermo Cured treatment, in which the top is "baked" to accelerate the aging of the wood, resulting in a warmer, more resonant tone. It also affects the appearance; a thermo-cured top is slightly darker compared to an untreated spruce top.

Compared to the obvious D28, the E20D-TC has a bit more crispness (“bells”) in its tone, which you might find adds a rich quality to this vintage-style dreadnought.
Note the beautiful details: herringbone binding, abalone snowflake inlay, open-gear tuning machines, and a traditional headstock volute.
