All the way up at the high-end tip of the iceberg of Eastman's Traditional Series, you'll find the E40 range guitars. Featuring a Dread and an OM, available in both natural and sunburst nitro finish, the E40's are based on the luxurious, iconic, pre-war instruments and are being build with all the traditional bells and whistles. Truely stunning! The body is made with a solid AAA grade adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood back and side. The neck is made of mahogany and has an ebony fingerboard. Eastman selects and uses the best tonewood they can find only for these flagship models and the incredible rich, resonant and dynamic tone is the proof of that. None of the hot details were left out, from the mother of pearl body bindings, snowflake position markers and complex headstock inlay, to the open gear machineheads and headstock volute; the guitars have it all! All the tone and classic vibe without the astronomical pricetag.
