Eastman E8D-TC

All of Eastman’s E-Series and Traditional Series models are based on the iconic Western guitars of the “pre-war golden era.” As a result, this series features only traditional body shapes—such as dreadnoughts, OM’s, OOO’s, and OO’s—without cutaways or pickups. The E8D features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, a 3-piece mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, and hand-carved scalloped X-bracing; a combination of high-end specifications that results in a very fine balance of a boomy low end and a crystal-clear high end. The perfect combination of features for the ultimate flatpicker’s guitar. And indeed, the E8D bears a striking resemblance (not just in terms of specs!!) to the iconic D28 and is therefore, in our opinion, the ultimate “bang for your buck”!

All E8 series guitars are now only available in the TC / “Thermo Cured” version. Eastman’s Thermo Cured guitars feature a heat-cured top, which makes the guitar sound significantly more resonant and dynamic than the previous non-Thermo Cured version. What’s more, this treatment gives the guitar a beautiful antique look!

This guitar comes with the original hard case and certificate.
