The Yamaha FG800M is an exception in the FG800 range with its matte finish. The thin satin lacquer finish provides a simple but also classy look, but it also gives tops a little more resonance.
The 800 series of the popular FG range has a different vocal bar construction that provides clearer lows and mids. In addition, it has a slightly thinner neck rounded fingerboard edges which provides extra comfort. The fretboard is made of beautifully grained walnut wood, and the sides and back are made of mahogany-like nato.
The solid spruce top will only get better sounding with age. And with fantastic Yamaha build quality, you can be sure that this guitar will be a friend for life.
