All E Series / Traditional Series by Eastman are based on the iconic western guitars of the "pre-war golden-era". So within this series you will only find the traditional body shapes like dreadnoughts, OMs, OOOs, without cut-away and without pickups. The E2D is the most value for money of the traditional collection with its beautiful and professional specs at a great price.
The body is completely massive (and that for this amount, unique!); Cedar top, sapele sides and back, 3-piece mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and hand-scalloped X-bracing; a mix of hi-end specifications that results in a very fine balance of an amazing mid projection (great for fingerstyle) as well as a fat low-end and fresh top-high (great for flatpicking).
