The solid Sitka spruce top, combined with a mahogany laminated back and sides and reinforced with scalloped X-bracing, delivers a rich, balanced, and lively tone. The dark mahogany neck with the familiar F-shaped headstock feels comfortable in the hand thanks to its satin finish. In addition, the guitar features high-quality details such as closed-back tuners that keep the tuning stable over time, a Micarta nut and bridge saddle for optimal string resonance, and phosphor-bronze strings that produce a warm, full tone from the very first strum.
