Yamaha MG12XUK

The Yamaha MG12XUK is an analog mixer. The mixer has extensive features, excellent sound quality and is well suited for live sound or permanent installations. The MG12XUK's microphone preamps ensure that your mix sounds transparent and clear: the crystal-clear D-PRE pre-amps of squeeze every drop of tone out of your microphones, with natural-sounding lows and smooth highs. The mixer has built-in digital effects, switchable phantom power, a pad switch, one-button compressors, EQ, lots of I/O and LED metering.

D-PRE Class-A microphone preamps
No one wants to hear microphones connected to thin, distorted or underpowered preamps. The MG Series mixers use Yamaha's transparent D-PRE preamps, which provide more power with lower impedance, delivering natural-sounding bass and smooth highs. D-PREs sound just right, without hyping up specific elements of your mix. The pure sound of the D-PRE ensures that you don't have to spend hours EQing to get a barely acceptable sound, as you would with low-quality mic preamps.
