Ludwig Classic Oak Pro Beat Tennessee Wiskey

With a specific hybrid shell construction of maple and oak, the Classic Oak is a true tastemaker and rightful counterpart of the Classic Maple in the top professional segment at Ludwig.

The shells of the of the Classic Oak consist of 5 layers and are 6.5 mm thick. Of these 5 layers, the three inner layers are maple and the two outer layers are oak. Ludwig USA uses the traditional press molds from the 60's and uses high frequency resonance to distribute the glue between the layers 100% evenly. This is the unique Radio Frequency Shell Technology (this technique is similar to "tapping" a poured concrete floor). The shells are milled with a 45-degree bearing edge for added focus and attack. This makes the Classic Oak made for balanced and loud drum sound with lots of sustain.

Consisting of a 24x14" bass drum, 13x9" tom and 16x16" floortom, this 3-piece Pro Beat shell kit sounds big, fat and dynamic.
All hardware is heavy-duty with padded lugs and bass drum claws. All mounts (floortom legs and tomholder) use the convenient Atlas mount. The tomholder / clamp-mount for placement of the 13" tom is included.
