The Ludwig Classic Maple has been a professional standard within the Ludwig collection for 20 years. This versatile and reliable shell kit is hand-built in Monroe, USA, preserving the rich tradition and signature Ludwig sound. The 7-ply maple shells are produced using Ludwig’s unique Radio Frequency Shell Technology, which ensures uniform gluing and optimal resonance. The shells feature a precision-milled 45-degree bearing edge with a rounded outer edge, resulting in a powerful, clear, and versatile sound, finished in an exclusive Pink Oyster Durawrap finish. The heavy-duty hardware, featuring padded lugs, bass drum claw hooks, and Atlas mounts for the tom holder and floor tom legs, completes this kit.
