Tama can make a beautiful drum kit like no other. This Exotic version of the Superstar Classic is a perfect example of there craftmanship. The thin maple shells -standard with the Superstar- are finished with a figured lacebark pine finish ply and lacquered in a tasteful, luxurious color. And since this current Superstar is actually a reissue of the Superstar that dominated the market for over 40 years, the set features the same vintage-style T-badges as a homage to the classic look of its predecessor.
With a thickness of only 7 mm for the bass drum and 5 mm for the toms and snare, the set is super resonant and has a rich tone with clear projection; a modern sound, but above all very versatile.
This drum kit consists of a pre-configured shell set of a 22x16" bass drum (including tomholder), 10x7" and 12x8" toms, 16x14" floortom and 14x6.5" matching snare drum.
Please note; this is a shell kit and so, all further additional hardware, cymbals and cymbals are not included!
