The SB54 is Eastman's tribute to the most iconic, classic single-cuts of the 1950s with the specifications to match; 24.3/4" scale, one-piece okoume body, carved maple top, okoume neck with ebony fingerboard, 54 style wraparound bridge, A Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Soapbar P-90 in bridge position, and a Lollar Staple P90 in neck position. A luxery details is the binding covering both sides of the body, the neck, and the headstock; stunning. And how about that Gold finish!
This guitar can handle basically anything from classic rock to blues, to slick soul and twangy funk tones.The SB54 is finished in a matte True-tone lacquer and has a very subtle, tasteful aged look. Only the best parts are used by Eastman such as Jescar frets, CTS pots, Switchcraft and Gotoh. The level of finish and build quality is simply outstanding.
