After hours of rehearsing and fine-tuning, your track is ready to record - but where do you start? The Yamaha URX44C audio interface lets you capture your ideas in true studio quality. This 6-in/4-out interface delivers 32-bit / 192 kHz USB-C audio conversion for professional studio sound. Direct monitoring with minimal latency lets you work accurately and comfortably on every recording.
The URX44C is compatible with Windows, macOS and iOS, so you can effortlessly switch between different devices. After recording, you can get straight to work with the included Cubase AI and Steinberg Plus software, finishing your productions in detail. The robust metal casing protects the device during transport - so your studio is always within reach.
Simple operation. Serious functionality.
Designed for quick and intuitive use, the URX44C offers practical, fuss-free operation. Independent headphone and master volume knobs make it easy to set appropriate monitor levels. The MIX button allows you to combine direct input with playback audio - ideal for livestreams or recordings. The separate MONO button keeps your mix balanced on any playback system, so you hear exactly what your audience will hear next.
Thanks to the integrated hardware DSP processor, you hear exactly what you want during recording - for example, your vocals with reverb or slight compression - without noticeable latency. This is because the effects are processed in real time in the interface's DSP, not by your computer. So you can relax rehearsing or singing in, with the right sound in your headphones, while simultaneously recording a clean, dry signal.
Everything you need. Wherever you go.
The URX44C comes with powerful tools to take your productions to the next level. Cubase AI offers a streamlined version of Steinberg's well-known DAW for multitrack recording and editing, while Steinberg Plus adds additional sounds, effects and virtual instruments. The dspMixFx UR-C software lets you easily control your monitoring mix and effects, and its compatibility with Elgato Stream Deck lets you control the interface at the touch of a button.
What about the outputs?
The URX44C is officially called a 6-in/4-out interface, but on the back you'll find six physical outputs. Here's how it works:
- The MAIN OUTPUT L/R sends the signal from MIX 1 to your studio monitors.
- The LINE OUTPUT 1L/1R outputs the same MIX 1 signal.
- The LINE OUTPUT 2L/2R outputs MIX 2, which you can set up separately in the dspMixFx software.
So although there are six physical outputs (2x MAIN + 4x LINE), they are grouped into two stereo pairs (4 channels) in the signal routing. This is why Yamaha speaks of "4 outputs." There are also two independent headphone outputs (Phones 1 and 2), each of which can have its own mix. Phones 1 follows MIX 1, while Phones 2 can switch between MIX 1 and MIX 2.
Yamaha URX44C features:
- USB Type-C audio/MIDI interface with 32-bit / 192kHz support

URX-C Overzicht|Alles-in-één audio interface voor makers
The Yamaha URX-C is a compact all-in-one USB audio interface designed for producers and creators.
With its professional sound quality and flexible mixing features, it is ideal for recording, production and streaming.
Thanks to its seamless integration with tools such as Stream Deck, the URX-C makes live streaming and content creation more intuitive and dynamic.
