The Sonor Jungle snare has a depth of 2" and is made of 7-ply maple. The shell contains 16 jingles that create a tambourine effect. The snare is equipped with TuneSafe tuning screws, which prevent the lugs from loosening. The sound of this snare drum is very focused and pleasantly crisp. It’s great as an accent to your drum set or if you’re a percussionist.
